Hi -

First of all - great component and makes the registration process alot easier. Love how customizable the forms are.

I am, however, having a couple of problems displaying the courses and associated dates.

I tried to follow the section/category outline in the quick start, but ran into a couple of SQL errors when I tried to display the section views. So I changed the course categories/sections and put all under one category which I am now displaying. I'm not seeing the start/end dates for the courses, however.

Also I would like to fine tune the display (I know I can do so much via css, but I would want to break some of the output out from the current tabular layout). Any pointers would be appreciated. I don't know if it would be considered if I updated the default.php that's in the category view?

What kind of errors are displayed when you use the section(s) view? Maybe you can create a admin user for me and I will try to correct your errors directly on your site. If it's a possibility please send me the login informations to rm@amotools.ch.

If you want to change the view of amocourse hardly, you have two possibilities:

• Create a folder com_amocourse in the html directory of your template to make a override. Copy all the files and folders of /components/com_amocourse/views into the newly created folder and make your changes there


• Change the files directly into the views folder of component amocourse.

If you have more questions, pleas ask me a little bit more accurate.

I received your email and wanted to follow up here! Thank you so much for looking at this - I did manage to recreate the SQL error, but honestly I don't think it was due to the AMO db - I changed the menu item ordering and delete a menu item and saw the error. I think it's more attributable to the cache not being consistent w/ the current db state.

I really appreciate your efforts on this - I don't know why I couldn't get the category listing going before - I saw the way you did it (and took notes) and I obviously was doing something different. It works like a charm - again - thank you so much!
